A Handmade Christmas

Today we had an open day at our friend Andrea's home.
Originally we were going to have a stall at a local Carols by Candlelight and so we had been very busy making all of our handmade goodies. Unfortunately the event was cancelled and so we were left with more goodies than we knew what to do with and no where to sell them!
Andrea decided to hold an open house and asked Liana and I if we would like to join her, with the plan to invite our family, friends and work colleagues.

Me with my favourite journal, I was sad when I sold it this afternoon
Andrea's daughter Holly baked cupcakes, melting moments, lemon slice and cookies for afternoon tea which she asked for a small donation to raise money for the AFESIP and One Village charities which she supports

Liana's top even matched the cupcakes which she found very amusing!

It was a great day in beautiful surroundings. Even better, we got to sell some of our handiwork which was a first for us.

Full of inspiration to make more goodies now!
