One Productive Day

So we spent a whole day making cards the other day. Probably the most productive day in the history of forever (for us at least).
Our motivation?
We are planning on running our first ever stall at a Carols by Candlelight in early December. Exciting! :D

Here's a taster of what we made

And something a little more Christmas inspired

The Button Bauble card is my favourite and Mum's is the Quilted Owl card :)

The table is still a battleground. It is currently home to a number of projects including;
- Paper Ribbon Christmas Tree
- 21st Photobook
- Christmas Candy Sleigh
- Button Wreath Tree Decoration
- Ribbon and Bead Christmas Tree
- Hot Glue Snowflake
and of course all that cardmaking stuff

Sunday Funday is just around the corner, fingers crossed some of the projects get finished!

The boring first post - INTRODUCTION

Hi guys! Welcome to our blog, Lilyden Creations. So happy you have stopped by. This blog is shared between Denise and Liana, Mother and Daughter, where we will share our stories, especially the crafty ones.

We apologise for the disorganisation of our first post, but we both wanted to write our first post and so here we are.

So lets get the basics out of the way:

Name: Denise Barrett
Age: 51
Occupation: Education Assistant
Favourite Colour: Red
Favourite Food: Chocolate
Favourite Past-time: Reading, Crafting (so many types) and NOT cooking or cleaning.
featuring willow, my precious baby. expect to see lots of photos of her

Name: Liana Barrett
Age: 21
Occupation: Unemployed :/ (hey! I just graduated from Uni)
Favourite Colour: Purple
Favourite Food: Anything that's not salad
Favourite Past-time: Eating, Socialising and Not studying. Oh I guess Crafting as well :)

Our house is often taken over by our many craft projects, so much so that often it's impossible to eat tea at the dinner table. Like tonight

It's pretty bad because we have already taken over 2 rooms with all of our stuff and since there is no longer a need for a study desk there is now a third desk that is becoming engulfed, much to Dad's disgust.

We craft all the things. You name it, we do it. And if we don't, you can bet that we want to!

We hope you enjoy following the stories of our craft, family and everyday life :)
